India is given 133rd position, Bangladesh 115th position, Sri Lanka 116th position, and China 86th. Finland is the country that tops the list of world’s happiest countries as per the UN yearly survey. It was also noted that the USA as a nation was getting less happy day by day as they were becoming richer and powerful, which is quite an irony. Last year the USA was given 14th position while this year it got the 18th position in the World Happiness Report. The United Arab Emirates received 20th rank while Britain was awarded 19th happiest country in the world.

India has gone down 11 places and this year it is ranked at the 133rd position from 122nd. India was behind most of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) countries except Afghanistan which was given 145th rank.

Pakistan which was ranked at 80th position in 2017 is now ranked at the 75th position which means that Pakistanis are getting happier every year, happier than India and other South Asian nations.

Countries that are economically stable, have growing prosperity, social freedom, minimum corruption, great health facilities and have a strong society are considered happy. The aim of this report is to help the government and the whole society find their faults and become a happier nation in future.
