In collaboration with Turkey, Pakistan has established a new honeybee research laboratory to bolster the country’s production of quality honey.
The inauguration of the lab was conducted at the National Agriculture Research Center in Islamabad.
According to the report, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul said to improve Pakistan’s cooperation in different fields further.
It is said that every country in the world has faced the issue of food security. Both countries could work together to ensure their food security.
On this occasion, Chairman Pakistan Agriculture Research Council Muhammad Azeem Khan applauded the Turkish envoy over establishing the lab.
He added that Pakistan is producing quality honey, and with the establishment of the laboratory, the production would further improve the quality of honey.
It is also informed that the Chairman further added that the training of beekeepers is part of Pakistan-Turkey cooperation:
We can get a better price of our honey in the world market by acquiring the international certification,
