The provincial capital of Sindh is all set to welcome the West Indies cricket team for the international series.

The ticket prices have been reduced with the general enclosure tickets now being sold for rupees five hundred and the VIP tickets for rupees six thousand.
The ticket details are as follows:
- The ticket for the General Enclosure is of Rs 500
- The ticket price for the First Class is of Rs 2,000
- The Premium ticket price is of Rs 4,000
- The VIP tickets are to be sold for Rs 6,000
The international series was initially planned to be held in November last year, but, it was postponed after some senior players of the West Indies team showed hesitation.
2009 was the last year when the city of Karachi hosted an International match when the Pakistan-Sri Lanka tour was held in the city and the tour turned out ill-fated as seven visiting players were injured, and eight policemen and common men were killed.
The success of the PSL 3 final held at Karachi not only boosted the morals of the Karachiites but also added wonderfully to the image of the city. This definitely would help in bringing more international cricket teams to Pakistan for playing matches.
