Chingiz Coribhi—the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Azerbaijan informed on Tuesday that a joint trade expo of Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan would be conducted in Baku, which is the capital city of Azerbaijan in April this year.

The expo would include the medicine, surgical instruments, pharmacological, electrical appliances, cutlery, sportswear, home-made crafts, accessories, leather, textile, crafts and food, as informed by the Deputy Head of Mission while he was exchanging his views with the businessmen at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).

He added that the Pakistan exporters must take an active part in the joint expo for showing the potential of their products to the consumers of Azerbaijan.

He said that Azerbaijan was also searching for the possibility of introducing direct flights with Pakistan that would boost the trade relations as well.

Coribhi said that his nation was very much interested to boost the trade ties with Pakistan as both the nations have got huge potential for promoting trade in many areas.

He also added that Azerbaijan and Pakistan have enjoyed excellent political ties and there was a need to focus on strengthening the economic relation for mutual benefit between the two countries.

As per Coribhi, the Embassy of Azerbaijan has also established easy visa facility for Pakistanis owing to which the visa application from Pakistan has experienced a ten-time increase. Pakistan has also announced to give visa on-arrival facility to Azerbaijan which indeed is a very good step.

He was hopeful that this facilitation would assist in boosting bilateral trade and people to people contacts between the people of both the nations.
