Pak Suzuki Motor has increased the car prices within a range of Rs10,000-Rs100,000 in mid of the fluctuations in the rupee.
HM Shahzad—the President of the All Pakistan Motor Dealers Association (APMDA) said that this price surge was not anticipated earlier, automobile firms surged prices after the substantial rupee devaluation, however, this time the value of rupee against dollar is experiencing slight fluctuation within a range of a rupee or less.
The company has surged the price of Mehran VX variant by Rs10,000 to Rs799,000, as per a price notification which was sent to the dealers throughout the nation.
It also increased the price of Mehran VXR variant by Rs20,000 which is now at the cost of Rs880,000. The prices of Wagon R VXR and Wagon R VXL models were surged by Rs40,000 and Rs30,000, respectively to Rs1.26million and Rs1.34million.
The Cultus VXR model became pricey by Rs30,000 to Rs1.44million, while the price tag for Cultus VXL variant shot up by Rs20,000 to Rs1.55million.
Pak Suzuki increased the Bolan Van price to Rs874,000 from Rs854,000 and the price of Cargo Van to Rs840,000 from Rs820,000.
On the other hand, the prices for Ravi increased by Rs20,000 to Rs796,000.
