Pak-Japan Have Got Potential to Expand Trade Relations; Says Ambassador


The ambassador of Japan to Pakistan—Kuninori Matsuda said that Pakistan and Japan have got a great potential for expanding the bilateral trade and economic relations.

He said that both the nations have more potential for boosting the present volume of trade and double the figure for exploiting the resources.

The ambassador also said that the Japanese firms are willing to form the industrial units of the auto parts in Pakistan for providing the opportunity to local people, as per the reports of local media.

He added that the Japan International Cooperation Agency is already working on the possible agro-based ties-based regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which includes Swat, Chitral and Hazara as in Gilgit Baltistan for boosting innovation and value addition culture in these regions.

The ambassador also mentioned that the Japanese firms were interested in establishing the industrial units of the auto parts in Pakistan for bringing investment to offer an opportunity to the local people of the country.

He further said that the Japanese firms directly made an investment in the production in Pakistan and Suzuki of Japan is engaged in the car production activity in Pakistan,
