Reports came out which states that the Government of Balochistan on Thursday decided to limit operations in OPDs (Out Patient Department) in the province.
As per the details, if there is any emergency then the on-call professors and the medical postgraduate students will be available to take care of the patient.
Any further decision regarding this matter will be taken only after reviewing the situation in the month of June said the Director-General health for Balochistan.
He further said if the situation remains terrible than the suspension of the OPDs will continue.
It has been suggested by the ministry of health to imply a full lockdown and curfew in the Balochistan province in order to control the spread of the deadly virus.
In the previous twenty-four hours, 2,076 new coronavirus cases have been reported which has risen up the total tally of the cases in Pakistan to 61,227.
Thirty-six more people have died due to COVID-19 which pushes the total number of the death toll to 1,260, told the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
In Sindh, 24,206 cases have been reported. 22,037 in Punjab, 3,616 have been detected in Balochistan, 8,483 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,015 in Islamabad, 615 in Gilgit-Baltistan and in Azad Kashmir 219 cases have been detected.
