It has been learned that the online ticket reservation system of the Pakistan Railways has reportedly been crashed due to the heavy load of the visitors.
The Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the authorities have decided to open one-window booking office at the railway stations in Rawalpindi, Karachi, Multan, Sukkur, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta to facilitate people buying tickets.

In a video message posted on the social media platform Twitter, the federal minister said that the people will now be able to buy tickets from these railway stations in the country.
He further said that the decision to open the one-window reservation office was made after the online tickets buying system of the Pakistan Railways crashed due to a load of a visitors.
The federal minister for Pakistan Railways said that window will remain open between 8am to 5pm and the defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) will be followed.
