OnePlus is soon releasing the OnePlus Nord 2 5G across social media. This OnePlus smartphone would be the new budget phone for you that ditches Qualcomm for MediaTek.

According to Phone Arena, it is the first time for Oneplus to use a MediaTek chipset instead of Qualcomm. The chipset on this device is a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset.

The company did this to enhance its AI capabilities, enabling a range of new AI-based features on Nord 2. One of the highlights of this smartphone is its triple-camera setup with AI Photo Enhancement. With this new feature, the AI camera could recognize up to 22 different scenes and automatically adjust the color and contrast of the photo.

There is also an AI Video Enhancement feature that will enable live HDR effects and automatic adjustments to shadows, colors, highlights, and more while live recording.

Then we have the AI Color Boost technology that converts standard dynamic range to high dynamic range and the AI Resolution Boost to enhance video resolution to HD on popular social media apps. Lastly, Smart Ambient Display uses AI to control the brightness of the OnePlus Nord 2 display based on lighting conditions.

There is much to know about this smartphone. But due to lack of leaks, we would have to wait till further information comes from our tipsters.
