OnePlus 10 Pro Leaked Specs Are Here

OnePlus 10 Pro

The OnePlus 10 Pro is increasingly becoming a very poorly kept secret, because now after the first CAD data-based render images, specific information about the technical data of the upcoming top model from the Oppo subsidiary has emerged.

According to a report by the Indian website 91Mobiles, OnePlus wants to be one of the first manufacturers to introduce a smartphone with the new generation of high-end SoCs from Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 8 Gen1, at least according to earlier rumors, known internally under the model number SM8450 and the code name “Waipio”, should form the heart of the OnePlus 10 Pro.

The new top chip is said to be combined with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD + resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hertz. Under the hood, depending on the model, there are allegedly eight or 12 gigabytes of LPDDR5 memory and 128 or 256 GB of internal flash memory based on UFS 3.1. An expansion of the memory is probably not planned here again.

New Face, same cameras?

For the cameras, OnePlus apparently relies on equipment that is completely identical to the direct predecessor model, at least on paper. The main camera uses a 48-megapixel sensor, while the ultra-wide-angle camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels. There is also a periscope camera for zoom shots with 3.3x optical magnification and an 8-megapixel sensor.

The front camera, on the other hand, is an upgrade, as it should offer 32 megapixels in the future. It is conceivable that OnePlus will use new camera sensors and improved optics for the 10 Pro in order to differentiate the new model from its predecessor, but exact details about the camera are not yet available. OnePlus is reportedly working again with the Swedish specialist Hasselblad to optimize its cameras, whose branding can also be found on the device’s housing.

The OnePlus 10 Pro also features a 5000mAh battery, although it remains to be seen how quickly this can be charged. In addition, the case of the smartphone is allegedly certified according to IP68 and thus officially waterproof and dustproof. The device is expected to be launched on the Chinese market in January or February, before the international launch in March or April.
