Omani Businessmen are interested to invest in Pakistan. Al-Sheikh Muhammad Umar Ahmed Al-Marhoon—the Ambassador of Oman to Pakistan said that the businessmen of Oman are keen to make investments in the different sectors of Pakistan, as per the reports of Radio Pakistan.
He shared his views during a meeting with Omer Ayub Khan—the minister for Petroleum in the capital city.
During the meeting, the minister said that Pakistan wishes to have strong diplomatic and economic relations with Oman.
Omer Ayub Khan invited the Omani firms to take full advantage from the friendly policies of Pakistan and to make an investment in the various sectors. On this, the Omani Ambassador told the minister about the willingness of the Omani businessmen of investing in Pakistan.
Saqr Bin Mubarak Al-Mansouri—the Qatari ambassador last week, called on to the National Assembly speaker—Asad Qaiser in the capital city and shared that the investors of Qatar are looking forward to making investments in Pakistan.
The envoy further added that the investors of Qatar are interested to take an active part in the economic activities in Pakistan and many different deals have been signed for investment in the sectors of manufacturing, agriculture and power.
He gave assurance that the government of Qatar would support Pakistan for the socio-economic uplift of the side-lined sectors of the society—education, sanitation and health.
