Apple is doing its duty and reporting the production and import of new devices to the Eurasian Economic Commission. The first official references to the Apple Watch Series 7 with WatchOS 8 and new MacBook Pro models emerge from the registrations.
In the run-up to the presentation of new products, manufacturers such as Apple are obliged to notify the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) about the import of technical devices into the Eurasian region. This is the only way to later sell in countries such as Russia, Armenia, Belarus, or Kazakhstan. The French blog Consomac, which came across Apple’s registrations in the EEC database, was resourceful. At least the first official information on new products can be read from the stored product numbers.
New MacBooks and Apple Watch models almost ready
Above all, the two “code names” A2442 and A2485 could point to the new MacBook Pro models with 14 and 16-inch mini LED displays and the new Apple M1X chip. The mass of other registered Mac products, on the other hand, seems to concentrate only on delivery with the new macOS Monterey operating system. With regard to the possible technical equipment, however, no conclusions can be drawn from the database entries, which is why one is still dependent on the rumor mill.
The Eurasian Economic Commission has similar information on the new Apple Watch Series 7 . We are talking about the model numbers A2473, A2474, A2475, A2476, A2477, and A2478. The connection to the new WatchOS 8 software can also be seen by name. Analysts are currently assuming that Apple could give its smartwatch a makeover this year to bring it closer to the look of the current iPad and iPhone 13 lineup with a flatter design. The EEC has apparently not yet received any registrations for the latter.
