QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2020 has ranked National University of Sciences & Technology among world’s top universities. NUST is the only Pakistani university that is ranked amongst 301-500 world universities. It is the top university in Pakistan for “Partnerships with Employers”.
The employability outcomes of higher education institutions are compared by the Graduate Employability Rankings. From all over the world, the employability outcomes of universities are studied and compared. In this evaluation, 758 institutions were included this year.
In comparison to last year, the number of institutions has increased by 15% in the evaluation. For “Partnerships with Employers” NUST was ranked number one university from Pakistan.
Globally QS ranked Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, and the University of California at Los Angeles at number one, two, and third place respectively. From Asia, the top leading university was Tsinghua University in Mainland China that ranked at 6th position. University of Hong Kong, Peking University, The University of Tokyo, and the National University of Singapore ranked at 9th, 19th, 23rd, and 24th position respectively.
The university-employability relationship was explored using a unique five-metric method. Alma mater data from 29,000 highly successful individuals, institutional industry partnerships, employer presence on campus, and the location-adjusted graduate employment rate was used to rank the universities.
