Recently, the National University of Medical Sciences’ (NUMS) Rawalpindi announced to postpone all its remaining MBBS and BDS examinations this year. The announcement was made in a press statement.
The statement read that, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the BDS and MBBS exams have been postponed for all the constituent and associated colleges.
As per the reports, the university is yet to issue its new examination date sheet.
NUMS had conducted the entrance test for its MBBS/BDS 2020 session at its 13 medical and 5 dental (constituent and affiliated) colleges across the country and Azad Jammu Kashmir on 11th October. This was the first time that the institute had held its entrance test without the participation of external testing services.
The results were announced on the 25th of October, and the successful applicants were also required to pass the National Medical and Dental Colleges Admissions Test (NMDCAT) to be qualified for admission to NUMS
In the meantime, the University Of Health Sciences (UHS) has issued a reviewed date sheet for its MBBS and BDS examinations. As per the reviewed schedule, the annual examinations will be held from 12th January to 11th February 2021.
