Nokia 4.2 is getting the Android 11 update

Nokia is rolling out the Android 11 update to the Nokia 4.2, which originally came with Android 9.

Nokia is rolling out the new Android 11 update to the Nokia 4.2, launched in 2019. The phone originally came with Android 9 and then upgraded to Android 10 last year.

The update comes with version number 3.150 and is a 1.5 GB file. The Android 11 update also brings the March 2021 security patch. The features this update brings include chat bubbles and one-time app permissions.

The update is going global except for the countries and channels listed below:

  • Chile (Entel Chile, Movistar Chile, Claro Chile, WOM)
  • Colombia (Claro Colombia, Movistar Colombia)
  • Czech Republic (O2 CZ)
  • Israel

  • Poland (Plus, Orange PL, PLAY)
  • Romania (Orange RO)
  • Russia
  • USA (T-Mobile)
  • Uzbekistan

Nokia will roll out 100% of the update from April 12. Users will have to wait by Monday if they haven’t received the update notification.
