No Load Shedding on Eid, Govt Announces

The federal government has taken the decision that there would no load shedding across Pakistan on the joyous occasion of Eld-ul-Azha.

The spokesperson of the power division mentioned that a monitoring centre has been established in the capital city for ensuring the on-time supply of electricity.

All the power distributing firms have been informed about the decision of the government in this regard, as per the spokesperson.

On 11th August from 7:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the 14th of August, there would be no power breakdown in any part of the country.

The spokesperson of the power division informed that special monitoring teams have been made to look after the technical issues during the Eid holidays.

The federal government has made the announcement that there would be 4 public holidays on Eid-ul-Azha with effect from the 12th of August.

As per the issued notification by the Interior Ministry, there would be public holidays from the 12th until the 15th of August that is from Monday to Thursday.
