Ahsan Ali Mangi has denied rumours regarding the winter vacations extension in the schools of Sindh adding that Tuesday would be the last day of holidays as per the schedule.
The Secretary of Sindh and the Literacy Department, Ahsan Ali Mangi gave a clarification that no such extension would be made in the winter vacations for the educational institutions and schools would be reopened from the 1st of January.
On the 19th of December, the Sindh Education and Literacy Department made the announcement that all the public and private educational institutions in the province would remain closed for the winter break from the 20th of December until the 31st of December, 2019.

As per the issued notification by the government of Sindh, all of the educational institutions would be reopening on the 1st of January 2020 that is Friday. All the schools and colleges both of the public and private under the Education Department would be reopening on the 1st of January, according to the notification.
In the province of KP, the Department for Schools Education has extended the winter vacations duration due to a surge in the coldness throughout the province.
As per the notice, the schools would be opening in the province on the 7th of January 2020. The education minister Ziaullah Bangash said that the winter break has been extended owing to the lingering effect of the winter season prevailing across the province.
