Nintendo has announced that it will launch its Nintendo Switch online features and services in the second half of September 2018, the Japanese video game maker has also mentioned what players will get if they opt-in for subscriptions.

The Nintendo Switch online subscription will allow users to play games online such as Splatoon 2, Arms, Mario Tennis Aces, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The company has announced that players can also get access to classic Nintendo games such as The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros 3 and Dr. Mario with an added online play which has been added recently.

Players online can also save the game data online, the feature Save Data Cloud backup would do this job, retrieving game data becomes easy with this option if someone loses the system or use the new one.

Moreover, players will also have the features on Nintendo Switch smartphone app and they will receive special offers on it. Nintendo said it will announce more details and exact launch date related to Nintendo Switch Online before the actual launch.

All the Nintendo Switch users will not be able to become a member automatically; they will have to purchase individual or family membership plans to use the online gameplay service. Nintendo Switch online has kept the prices as low as $4 per month for the individual plan, $8 for three months and $20 for the whole year.

For family membership which can add up to 8 members in a plan, it costs only $35 per year.
