Niazi Express Train is to be inaugurated on July 19.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed—the Federal Minister for Railways made the announcement on Sunday that the Prime Minister—Imran Khan would inaugurate the Lahore-Mianwali train on the 19th of this month.

The Lahore to Mianwali bound train is referred to as the Niazi Express train. It would be inaugurated in Mianwali.

In a video message that was released on Sunday by Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, he said that the train which would return from Mari Indus would also have the facility of air-conditioned coaches.

The charges of the AC coaches would be Rs.800 while for the economy class the prices would be Rs.350.

The Minister for Railways added that he would personally visit the 400-mile track between Lahore and Mianwali for inspecting the arrangements for the new train service.

Previously, PM Khan inaugurated the Karachi-Lahore route—Sir Syed Express train. While addressing a ceremony PM Khan said that he feels happy when the Railways Minister invites him for train inaugurations as they are the means of transportation for the less privileged.

During the inauguration ceremony of the Sir Syed Express, Imran Khan stressed on controlling the financial corruption in all the organizations across the country.

He added that the ones who have looted and meddled the country would not be spared.
