HMD Global now seems to reactivate its popular brand Nokia, the company has introduced a series of new smartphones in the event MWC 2018. The Nokia 8 Sirocco unveiled at the MWC 2018 had a premium design Zeiss Carl dual cameras. However, the chipset was outdated, Snapdragon 835 was considered bit older if compared with the design, cameras, and outlook of the handset.
But Nokia is going to unveil two new devices with latest Snapdragon 845 chip, Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro said to have this chip under the hood. Nokia 9 would be a premium expensive device while Nokia 8 Pro would be a cheaper SD845 device according to the reports.
Nokia 8 Pro Specifications
The recent reports suggest that Nokia 8 Pro will come with SD845, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The phone will sport 6-inch FHD+ display coupled with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with screen resolution 2160X1080 pixels.
However, the device Nokia 8 Pro copies Nokia 8 Sirocco camera by adding a similar 16MP dual camera at the back of the handset. The phone will also feature 13MP selfie camera. Nokia 8 Pro will have USB type C port instead of a headphone jack. The phone will have a 4000mAh Li-ion battery to power up the phone for days, it also supports wireless charging. The phone is not likely to come with Android 8.0 Oreo as Nokia 8 Sirocco, the phone might support the older version of Android.
So far there is no official news about the smartphone and its launch date, but the rumor is telling us that Nokia is going to release a cheaper flagship with better SoC and Camera, what else you can expect from Nokia.
