New bogies have been prepared for the Karachi Circular Railway which shows that the project is going to be launched very soon.
The bogies have Karachi Circular Railway written over them with blue and white paints.
The new bogies have been assembled under the CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) which will operate on a 43-kilometer long track spread all over the city. The reports say that the trains will not run on a six-kilometer track as the encroachments have not been cleared from that area.

Earlier in July, the Sindh government was ordered by the Supreme Court to continue work on the Karachi Circular Railways and also asked to submit a progress report within 2 weeks. Moreover, the Supreme Court also asked to clear all encroachments coming in the way of the tracks.
The track is going to start from the Drigh road station and will pass through Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Later on, through Liaqatabad and Yaseenabad it will turn towards Nazimabad.
Before going towards Lyari and Baldia, Tower, City Station, PIDC, and Karachi Cantt, the track will head towards SITE and Manghopir. Then it will run parallel to Sharah-e-Faisal and go through Shaheed-e-Millat, Karsaz, and Chanesar completing a round trip to the Drigh road station.
The Karachi Circular Railways is going to provide relief to the travelers and will solve the transport issues in Karachi.
