Netflix Starts Charging Pakistani Members

From August 27th Netflix has started charging Pakistani members in rupees. Netflix said, “This change is part of our ongoing work to improve Netflix for our members in Pakistan.”

Netflix offers different Pakistani dramas and films and international seasons for Pakistani users on its platform. In India, Netflix has produced to original seasons just recently called Lust Stories and Sacred Games.

Those who wish to use and activate Netflix in Pakistan should know that the first month’s subscription is free of charge. Then users can select any desirable package be it Basic which is for PKR 950, Standard which is for PKR 1200, or Premium which is for PKR 1500. In the basic packaging, the viewing is in SD with just one single screen viewed on one device. On the standard and premium package, however, viewing is in HD.  Ultra HD that is the 4K resolution is only available in the premium package.

Pakistani dramas shown on Netflix include Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Sadqay Tumharay, Daam,

Quaid-e-Tanhai, Daastaan, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Mora Piya, Kankar and Shehr-e-Zaat.

Pakistani movies available on Netflix include Moor, Ho Mann Jahan, Jannan, O21, Waar, Wrong No. and others.
