A state-of-the-art production plant has been inaugurated in Nestlé Pakistan’s Sheikhupura factory by the Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar. Nestle has made an investment worth $22 million for establishing the Nestlé Fruita Vitals Plant.
It will have a production capacity of 24,000 units/hour. Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar spoke on the occasion and he said that the government wants to create a healthy environment in which foreign companies come to Pakistan for investment purposes.
He said that the government is making intensive efforts for the revival of Pakistan’s economy. Thus, he was pleased that one of the leading food and beverage companies in the world ‘Nestle’ has decided to make an investment in Pakistan. This investment depicts the trust of the company on the future of Pakistan.

The Chief Executive Officer Nestle Pakistan Samer Chedid shared his views and said, “Nestlé’s recent investment is a testament to our continuous trust in Pakistan and its growth potential. We appreciate the government’s steps as a result of which Pakistan has been listed by the World Bank as among the ‘Top-20 Improvers in Ease of Doing Business 2020.”
This clearly reveals that the current PTI government is committed to improve competitiveness by supporting the development of the private sector and reduce the regulatory and administrative pressure on the enterprises.
