The Naya Pakistan Youth Programme is launching soon and Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to include Madrassah students in the programme as well. The Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar had a meeting with Noorul Haq Qadri the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony to mainstream the students of seminaries.
Dar said that not just the Prime Minister wants to include Madrassah students in the Youth Programme but also provide interest-free loans, vocational training, and medical help to Madrassah students.
PM Imran Khan said that students are “precious assets” of Pakistan. Similarly, Noorul Haq Qadri termed this step “revolutionary step” by the government.
A meeting was held between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Usman Dar. After the meeting, Dar said that he will not charge salary for his post. He said, “I will not take any salary for this post, as I cannot become a burden on the national exchequer. He continued vowing that no money shall be wasted on laptops but will be spent on the benefit of the people.
Adding, “We will spend money on the youth and not on laptops. I will work with the prime minister to empower youth to become independent.”
