Name a Cockroach after your Ex and get it Killed this Valentine’s Day

Want to kill your Ex? Well, now you can. Different Zoos in US and England are offering people an opportunity to name cockroaches after their EX and that cockroach will be fed to a meerkat.

El Paso Zoo in Texas will also be video streaming the whole event called “Quit Bugging Me”. It will be live streamed on Facebook on 14th of Feb.

The names will also be displayed on social media as well as the meerkat exhibit starting from 11th February.

The event coordinator of El Paso Zoo Sarah Borrego said that the whole event “is a fun way to get the community involved in our daily enrichment activities”. Adding that the meerkats love to eat the cockroaches anyway,

El Paso Zoo, Hemsley Conservation Centre in Kent, England has invited the public to name a cockroach for just £1.50. The people who will take part in it will receive a gift certificate as well.

The tweet by the Zoo said, ”
“What’s the perfect Valentine’s Day gift? Naming a cockroach after your ex, of course! Message us your ex’s name and we’ll name a cockroach after them! We’ll post names (First and last name initial!) starting February 11 here on Facebook! Watch on Facebook Live or on our website’s Meerkat webcam on Valentine’s Day at 2:15 pm to see them devour these little bugs!”
