The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) would be starting online forms submission facility for the “New Pakistan Housing Scheme” during the next week for facilitating the citizens.
The NADRA Director—Rizwan Haider while conversing to PTV News said that the decision of providing the online facility had been taken after keeping the difficulties faced by the common people in mind in form submissions for the housing scheme.
To have a proper living and a shelter is the basic right of every citizen. The Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme would offer employment opportunities to the civil engineers, construction firms, designers, architects, cement and marble owners, the director NADRA mentioned in a news channel programme.
He further said that the government-sponsored low-cost housing project was much necessary so that it could provide residences to the people with minimal resources. Most of the citizens who have applied for the scheme were salaried people.
Director NADRA further said that it has increased its network of mobile registration vans in the rural areas for facilitating the masses for the correction of the new housing scheme forms and for further instructions.
He also said that just one person per family would be eligible for applying for the scheme and the preference would be given to the candidates who have got no property in Pakistan.
The facility of online form submission would be provided from the next week onwards for the citizens who are residing in the farfetched areas.
In the beginning, the project was launched in seven districts which include Quetta, Swat, Islamabad, Gilgit, Sukkur, Faisalabad, and Muzaffarabad.
