NADRA has launched a new facility for the disabled, elderly applicants. The National Database and Registration Authority have launched the manpack mobile units for the disabled and elderly applicants who are unable to visit a NADRA office for applying for their computerised national identity cards.

The paralyzed, disabled and elderly persons only have to apply in any NADRA office via their blood relations.

A NADRA official would then visit the resident of the disabled or elderly applicants for getting all the needed information. The official would then submit this information to any NADRA office.

The time period for issuing of the CNICs to the disabled or elderly persons is the same as that of the normal delivery which takes almost a month.

An applicant who desires to get the CNIC on an urgent basis could apply for it and could get the document within a week.

On the other hand, SNGPL to supply natural gas to 25,000 families in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The step has been taken by the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited on the instructions of the federal government.
