Looting people by establishing housing societies in Pakistan is the easiest illegal way to generate huge amount within no time.
An anti-corruption watchdog revealed that currently, it is investigating as many as 44 cases of housing societies scams in Karachi only.
According to the press resale issued by the National Accountability Bureau, thousands of people were deprived of their rightful titles of properties in connivance with the regulators and the officials of the Sindh Cooperation Department.
According to the details of the press release, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is handling a total of 53 cases related to housing scams from across Sindh. Out of 53 housing scam cases, 12 cases are under inquiries, 19 cases are under the advanced stage of investigation while the references of remaining 22 cases are under trial at accountability courts of Karachi and Hyderabad.
The details further said that out of 53 cases, as many as 44 housing societies are located in Karachi, nine societies in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Jamshoro etc.
