Moto X Pure Finally Gets Nougat 7.0 update

It was announced back in April that Moto X Pure Edition would receive Android Nougat 7.0 update, Moto X Pure users were excited to hear that but they kept waiting and waiting for long to get their hands on the new software, almost five months have been passed from the original announcement and now Moto X Pure users have even stopped thinking about Nougat update.

Finally, good news arrives, Moto X Pure has started serving Nougat 7.0 update to its devices, users on social media are bragging about it and sharing the good news with others.

The update is equipped with Nougat 7.0 update plus security patch of September 1, 2017. So now Moto X Pure has Nougat 7.0 it can expect one more year to get the version 7.1.1, or no updates further, you never know. Whether or not Moto X Pure will get 7.1.1 update is not confirmed but Android Oreo is definitely out of the question for this model. If you wish to use Oreo then you need to upgrade your phone model.

Android Nougat comes along revamped notification system, quick switching between applications, split-screen multitasking, quick setting bar, Better saving, custom quick settings, data saver and new emoji.

Moto X Pure was launched in the middle of 2015, the phone carries Snapdragon 808 chip in it with 3GB RAM, in 2015 it was one of the Motorola’s best smartphone at that time with hefty price tag of $260. The phone had an incredible 21MP f/2.0 camera which was impressive on the market and enough to attract more buyers at that time.
