The Shia community all around the world mourn because of the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain, the grandson of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) on these dates. They go out in huge numbers to remember the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain for Muslim community. This obviously makes them vulnerable to any kind of attacks. To control the risk of an attack, mobile phones services are suspended in these days.

So there is a huge chance that mobile phone users would have to go without service in the upcoming Muharram days.

The bad news for all those who are looking for an off from tireless work at the office is that 9th and 10th Muharram in Pakistan will be on Saturday and Sunday.
