Minister Wants Pakistan to Make Smart Cricket Balls

Fawad Chaudhry, the Minister for Science and Technology has the belief that the sports manufacturers in the country would face no issues in the making of the smart cricket balls.

Fakhr-e-Alam, the television show host has shared a channel report on how the smart cricket balls work and function. He received a lot of praise on the technology about which he shared on Twitter.

Fawad Chaudhry retweeted the post of Fakhr-e-Alam and said that it should not be a problem for the ball makers in the city of Sialkot and added that let’s begin a joint venture with the technical universities and make Pakistan’s own smart cricket balls.

Global Victoria, in one of its published reports, claimed that the Smart Balls are the future of sports. These balls come up with a microchip that is embedded in its core which offers real-time data to the players, the coaching staff and the fans.

The smart ball calculates the speed in 3 stages which are release, pre-bounce, and post bounce, which helps in the bowler’s performance evaluation, with the players able to see the results on their smartwatches.
