Met Office Predicts Lower Temperature in Karachi

The Meteorological department has predicted lower temperature for Karachi.

As per the predictions of the Met Office, the heatwave across the Karachi city is anticipated to go down by Sunday evening.

The Met office said that after a week of more than 40 °C in Karachi, the maximum temperature of the city is expected to remain between 35 °C and 37 °C.

The city temperature rose to as high as 41 °C on Saturday with the residents facing extreme problems owing to increased power shut down across the city as the weather became super-hot.

K-Electric in mid of the situation created by extreme weather situation sent messages to the city residents regarding the load management of the electric supply.

The city residents faced more than 10 hours of power shut down on Friday.

As per the Met office, weather throughout the nation is anticipated to remain hot and dry. Dust and thundershower along with rain and high wind are anticipated at the isolated locations in DG Khan, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Zhob, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Kashmir and Bahawalpur divisions during the evening.
