Met Dept. Forecasts More Rains in Karachi

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted more rain in Karachi on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On the evening of Monday, it rained in some neighbourhoods, easing some what the current hot weather conditions of the city and giving relaxation to the current heatwave going on in Karachi.

Sardar Sarfaraz—the PMD Director had earlier rubbished rumours on the social media which proposed that the thttps://www.researchsnipers.com/temperatures-not-to-cross-50c-clarifies-met-dept/emperatures in Karachi would be increasing more than 50°C mark in the days to come.

While talking to a local news channel, Sarfaraz said that a tropical depression in the region of Arabian Sea had changed into a storm.

But, the storm is headed westwards and would be hitting Oman rather than the coast of Karachi. He has given advise to people to ignore such rumours and enjoy the weather.
