Mehwish Hayat, who is also the recipient of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz has recently shared her take on the much-talked-about Turkish soap these days in Pakistan, Diriliş: Ertuğrul. She shared her take on it on her social media handle.
Diriliş: Ertuğrul or Ertugrul Ghazi, is a historical fiction that revolves around the life of Ertugrul. It has been dubbed in the Urdu language for the audience of Pakistan. It has been on-airing on PTV ever since the commencement of the holy month every day at 7:55 p.m. PM Khan have also urged the youth to watch the soap as it talks about the Islamic ethics and history.
Whereas, some other celebrity stars including Yasir Hussain and Mansha Pasha are skeptical about the Urdu dubbed foreign dramas being broadcasted on the local television.
On Monday, addressing the current debate around the Turkish soap, Mehwish Hayat tweeted that she is not clear that what the whole fuss is about and further wrote that let’s accept Ertugrul Ghazi for what it is. The starlet went on to write that the story is an educational drama series and has got good moral lessons and historical significance.
