MDCAT 2020 Entry Tests Being Conducted across Pakistan Today


Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT 2020) are being conducted all over Pakistan today (Sunday).

As per the Pakistan Medical Commission, the tests will be held at designated centers within strict COVID-19 SOPs.

Though, in Karachi, COVID-19 SOPs at the centers were not followed as 100s of students gathered inside through the gates with no social distancing. Also, many of the students were not wearing masks either.

According to the details, the entrance exam will include 200 multiple-choice questions. Candidates have 2 hours to answer them. There will be no negative marking and each question will be of 5 marks. The test will have 80 Biology, 60 Chemistry, 40 Physics, and 20 English questions.

The MDCAT test is led under the management of the University of Health Sciences.

According to PMC, students who have contracted the coronavirus will appear for the exams on December 13th. On the other hand, if a registered student contracts coronavirus between November 15th and November 29th, 2020, then he/she would be allowed to sit in the special examination which will be held on December 13, 2020.

All those students who are coronavirus positive shall instantly be deferred to the Special MDCAT Examination to be held on December 13. The link for uploading the test result will remain active from 26th till the 29th of November.
