The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has decided to have the matriculation exams from March 16, as per the reports of local media.
As per the BSEK’s controller of examinations, more than 0.37 million candidates would be appearing in the matriculation examinations.
He also said that the representatives of the public and private schools have gathered the admit cards from the board on Monday. The controller of the examination has given advice to the candidates who could not get their admit cards so far would be contacting the BIEK office for the issuance of duplicate admit cards on an immediate basis.
The official said that the special vigilance teams have been set up to stop the cheating and use of the unjust means during the examinations.
The candidates who had submitted their forms of examinations online would be getting their admit cards by 11th of March, he also said.
The examination controller said that the examination material has been dispatched at the mentioned examination centres in the city.
Previously on the 4th of March, the government of Sindh had made the announcement for organising the matriculation and intermediate examinations as per schedule.
The notification had further read that the education boards were bound to give admit cards and enrollment identities to the students of matriculation and intermediate.
The secretary board had said that the holidays in schools throughout the Sindh had been announced owing to the coronavirus cases, but, no delay would be made in the examinations.
