The Malaysian PM—Mahathir Mohammad has officially been invited by Pakistan to attend the Pakistan day celebrations as chief guest. The premier has accepted the invitation and would be reaching Islamabad on the 22nd of March on a state visit.
The visit comes following the visit of the Prime Minister—Imran Khan to Malaysia. He went on a 2-day visit last year in the month of November where he formally invited the Malaysian Prime Minister to attend the 23rd March ceremony in the federal capital.
During PM Khan’s visit to Malaysia, both leaders discussed on an extensive range of regional, bilateral and international issues that are of mutual interest.

It is expected that the 2 leaders would be having meetings and would be signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in investment and trade divisions during the PM Mohammad’s visit to Pakistan.
Recently, the Saudi Crown Prince—Mohammad Bin Salman visited Pakistan. He was given a historic welcome. His visit proved beneficial in many regards for Pakistan, it not just brought investment to the financially suffering country but also boosted the relations that Pakistan and its people share with the Kingdom and its people.
MbS was requested by the Pakistani premier on his visit to permit the immigration of Pakistani Hajj pilgrims within Pakistan. As per reports, the crown prince has listened to the request and has accepted it and not just that the Kingdom has also increased the Hajj quota for Pakistan.
