Karachi again experienced a major power breakdown this morning that is Monday morning owing to the tripping in the national grid.
As per K-Electric, the electricity supply to the city of lights was affected after the tripping in the transmission line of the National Grid.
The electric company informed that work is being done to restore the power back to the city.

A consumer asked KE on Twitter regarding the restoration time of the electricity to that the electric company responded that it has no idea that how much time it would take to rectify the fault and to restore the electricity.
In the month of October, the capital city of Sindh province experienced three major power outages in four days’ time owing to some major fault that occurred in the distribution system of the K-Electric.
KE has informed that the discontinuation in the power supply was prompted by a rollover effect after the termination of Karachi’s power supply lines from the national grid.
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has taken notice of the power breakdowns in the port city. As per a press release issued by NEPRA, K-Electric was making no investments for improving its transmission line and distribution network as the events of tripping are more often.
