Peshawar North Bypass project sets off after the approval from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. He announced today that the Executive Committee of the Economic Coordination Council (ECNEC) had approved the project in addition to two power projects.
He also told the media that the construction of the bypass will increase the traffic flow in Peshawar city.
The two ower projects approved by the committee include the construction of a 157-MV power station in Madyan – an area of Swat – and an 88-MV Gabral powerhouse, in Kalam Valley.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister further told that the completion of power projects will enable the authorities to provide electricity to industries on subsidized rates.
“Discounted electric supply to industries will bring an economic revolution in the province besides creating employment for youth,” he added while talking to the media.
