As per the press release, in the middle of coronavirus crises the Lux style awards have officially bee canceled this year. The funds used for the show will be transmitted for the efforts in fighting the deadly disease.
A statement came out making it clear that the show has decided to cancel the grand awards ceremony in 2020 and instead combine up with the Akhuwat Foundation and pass on the funds of the show to those members of the fashion and entertainment industry who have been impacted due to COVID-19.

Chairman and CEO Unilever Pakistan Amir Paracha said that the Lux Style Awards has always been the most valued platform in celebrating the best in Pakistan’s Entertainment and Fashion industry and the impact of the postponement is recognized by us. He asks everyone to stay together and strong.
