A large number of medicines stolen from the government hospitals have been recovered by the local police from a house in Larkana after they conducted a raid.
The police had a clue after which they conducted a raid at a house located in Murad Wahan a neighborhood of Larkana. The local police recovered many cartons carrying government medicines with the stamp of Government of Sindh and not for sale stamps, said the police officials.
Although, the owner of the house Saddam Unar ran away as soon as the police entered for a raid.
Earlier on Wednesday, the police recovered a large number of stolen medicines from a private godown in Larkana.
The raid was conducted in a godown in the Ahsan colony area Larkana. From there the police recovered hundreds of cartons filled with stolen government medicines.
The suspect from the godown and the owner of a private medical store in connection with the con was arrested by the police.
A joint investigation team has been formed by Masood Ahmed Bangash Larkana’s Senior Superintendent of Police to investigate the drug scam.
Previously on 15th May, a child was bitten by a mad dog and was contracted with rabies but he died because of the non-availability of vaccinations.
The boy named Rizwan and four more people were bitten a mad dog a month back.
