The local businesses of Sialkot have set up a state of the art coronavirus testing laboratory for providing inexpensive diagnostic tests to the residents of the city, as indicated by the Special Assistant to PM on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar.
The lab has been set up at a cost of Rs.300,000 and all the local businesses of Sialkot have contributed to it.
The Special Assistant said that Sialkot has become self-dependent in the diagnosis of coronavirus after the laboratory has been created.
Usman Dar lauded the efforts of the business community of Sialkot for taking a step towards helping the residents at such a critical time.
On the other hand, a High-Flow Oxygen bed ward has been established at the Allama Iqbal Memorial Hospital in Sialkot.
Dr. Muhammad Ahmed officially inaugurated the ward. He is a frontline healthcare worker who had been infected by the virus himself and has recovered from it recently.
