The Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced a two-week winter break on Sunday.
Winters are in full swing and the most awaited part of the season is the holidays that befalls at the parting days of the year. Mostly parents and children eagerly wait for this precious two weeks or ten-day break so that they may plan some family outing or vacation somewhere. Some people travel during this season to Northern areas whereas some travel abroad to some fancy holiday locations and some travels for Umrah.
As per the notification released by the Lahore High Court, the LHC along with Multan, Rawalpindi and Bahawalpur benches would remain closed from the 25th of December 2017 to the 8th of January 2018.
The staff of the High Court—Lahore including the territorial benches would be having the winter break from 25th December to the 1st of January 2018.
The winter break for the Punjab government educational institutes has already been announced from the December 24th till the January 3rd, 2018.
Sindh government has also made the official announcement for the winter break which would be from December 22nd until the 31st of December.
Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments have not made any official announcement yet relating the annual winter break, but it could be said with certainty that in these provinces also the winter holidays would be somewhere from the last week of December till the first week of January at max.
The winter weather has intensified owing to the winter showers, in this weather, it is essential to properly safeguard oneself and the kids against the chilly winds by wearing warm clothes and enjoying warmer drinks.
The winter break would soon be starting some people would be travelling while others would be enjoying long sleepy days at home. Whatever may you choose, just enjoy the most serene, nostalgic and the relaxed time of the year.
