To boost the country’s economy, Tahir Manzoor Chaudhry – Vice President, Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) – stressed that the cosmetic industry could add high value.
According to him, the cosmetic industry is linked with several other industries which in combination could give a good addition to Pakistan’s economy.
He further said that the replicas of cosmetic brands must be banned as they are not only hurting the brands and the industry but the human lives as well. Instead, the country’s own brands should be highly promoted not only in the country but in the international market as well.
Tahir Manzoor Chaudhry shared his views in a media talk after meeting a delegation of the related sector which was led by Convener LCCI Standing Committee on Hair Care and Skin Ayesha Farooqui.
In the meeting, several participating saloons and parlors offered their services on a discounted rated to the meeting members.
The members of the delegation included Asia Khan, Anisha Yousaf, Rehma Hassan, Tooba Khan, Sana Sheraz Jawaid, Uzma Hamza, Saniya Shah, Shehnaz, Sonia Khan, Nadia, Asma Umar, and Amna Ali Khan.
