Yao Jing—the Ambassador of China to Pakistan made an announcement on Thursday to open a Chinese embassy branch in Lahore for issuing of Chinese visa from next month onwards.
The announcement was made after the Chinese ambassador called on Chaudhry Sarwar—the Punjab Governor and Usman Buzdar—the Chief Minister at their respective offices for discussing boosting Pak-China ties, CPEC related ventures and the expansion of bilateral relations in various sectors.
During the meeting, the Punjab Governor informed the ambassador that investment from various nations across the world is coming which indicates that the country has attained political stability.
He further said that Pakistan was also putting efforts to attract Chinese investors.
The Chinese ambassador said that there exists a well-framed unison between the relations of Pakistan and China.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that the ones who conspire against the friendship of Pakistan and China are clear enemies.
On the other hand, during the chief minister-ambassador meeting, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan shared the plans of opening an embassy branch in Lahore for issuing of the Chinese visa.
He said that the citizens of Pakistan would be facilitated in getting a Chinese visa easily as the branch would be made operational next month.
