KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) ended the second day of the business week on a positive note. The KSE-100 index closed 266 points higher on Tuesday. The 100 Index closed at a high of 41,377 this was the highest closed figure after October 2017.
It may be recalled that on the first day of the trading week, the stock market 100 Index had increased by 54 points. It may be recalled that on the first day of the business week, the dollar had lost 87 paisa on the interbank market. According to Forex dealers, the dollar closed at Rs 166.23 in the interbank market on Monday. Yesterday, the price of gold per tola had increased by Rs 700 in the barter market. According to the All Pakistan Barter Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs 700 to Rs 117,400. Besides, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 601 to Rs 151.
