On Sunday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government announced that they have decided to reopen all business activities including; gyms and restaurants all over the province from the 10th of August (Monday). This decision was proposed by the NCC (National Coordination Committee).
All the restaurants are allowed to reopen from tomorrow. But the schools and marriage halls are still not allowed to open in the province, declared the KPK Home Department.
Moreover, the Home Department also announced the resumption of all kinds of public transport from Monday. But if anyone wants to hold any religious activity then they will have to obtain permission from the concerned authorities, stated the KP home department.
The provincial government in light of the National Command and Operation Center’s decision planned to reopen all business activities.
Yesterday, the government also reopened the tourism sector. Thousands of tourists from all over the country went to Naran, Shugran, Galyat, Kaghan, and Thandyani.
The tourism sector was closed down earlier in order to control the spread of the coronavirus that surged in Pakistan in March 2020.
The KPK government opened the tourism industry yesterday under proper SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Recently on August 6th, Asad Umar Planning and Development Minister announced the reopening of restaurants, gyms, cafes, and cinemas from the 10th of August.
