Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has declared KP Digital Internship Program for 2018. The program means to construct skill ready workforce to quicken the development of ICT industry in KPK. By taking an interest in this program KPK Youth will create ICT capacities that will empower them to contend in worldwide ICT markets.
KPITB has been currently attempting to engage KP youth with advanced and entrepreneurial abilities. With activities like Digital Youth Summit and innovation labs, for example, Durshal, KPITB is changing the northern area of Pakistan into a digital hub. The KP Digital Internship Program is available to the alumni of Bachelors’ and Masters’ programs. The qualified hopefuls will be given entry level positions at Software Houses and Call Centers based out of KPITB IT Parks in Peshawar and Abbottabad. Internees will likewise get a month to month stipend of PKR 14,000.
Significant areas of expertise incorporate mobile app development, networking, web development, digital marketing, system testing, graphic designing and call management. To be eligible for an internship in a Software House, the candidates must have completed 16 years of education in CS, IT or any other ICT field. For call centers’ internship, the requirement is of 14 years of education in BA or an equivalent field of study. Applicants who graduated in the last three years and do not have a post-qualification work experience are eligible to apply. They must also hold a KP domicile.
