For improving the conditions in which the students study, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa education minister has ordered that the new schools being constructed in the province should be built as per the design that has been given approval by the government and the construction should be along the modern lines.
As per reports, Shahram Tarakai-the KP education minister said that the classrooms should have a proper ventilation system permitting sufficient sunlight.
Furthermore, the material to be used for the construction of schools should be of high quality.

The minister issued these orders while leading a meeting at the education department for reviewing the design of the government schools that would be constructed under the Annual Development Programme (ADP).
The minister asked the design engineers to draft modern designs for all the new rooms being built in the schools. He said that outdated and old designs would not get approval and asked the relevant authorities to send a report on the Kalodher and Kalu Khan schools on an immediate basis.
He emphasized that special focus should be put on ensuring that there is enough greenery in the schools as a part of the design element.
The education minister was also told about the current ongoing projects of the education department.
He also asked for the formulation of a report on the number of vacancies in the government schools of the province. He said other than the recently published positions for more than 20,000 posts, new openings would also be filled soon.
