KP Govt. Decreases School Hours and Suspends Morning Assembly

The KP government has reduced the school hours and also instructed to suspend morning assemblies.

As per the available details, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also suspended the break time in the educational institutes.

According to the new time table, the schools would be carrying their activities from 8:10 a.m. in the morning till 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon for the middle and the higher secondary schools while the primary classes would start at 8:30 a.m. in the morning and the would end at 12:30 p.m. But, on Friday there would only be 5 periods.

In the meantime, the KP government has placed a ban on the involvement of the students in VIP protocols.

As per a letter released by the directorate of elementary and secondary education the students are only coming to the schools for acquiring education and the top most priority is to provide them education.

The letter further read that the students should not be used for attending the guests and for providing protocol to them in the future.
